Sometimes, inaction is the perfect action.

I know exactly how you feel. You wake up early in the morning everyday, go through the usual morning rituals and get set to go to work. You go through a hectic truckload of paperwork and your boss expects only the best from you, even though in truth, you couldn’t give a rat’s ass. You don’t have any passion for your job and if not for the pay, even the soles of your shoes would not be found near the building.

Sadly, that’s not all. As if life couldn’t get any worse, you have your personal responsibilities. You have those light bills that need to be paid. You have that rent that is three months due. You have those parents that are old and now need your financial support. And financial support doesn’t stop with them, as you also have younger siblings to tend to. You have those spiritual, romantic (possibly) and even personal relationships you need to maintain. All this, on top of the head of one human being. You feel as though you were the modern day Atlas, carrying the weight of the world upon your shoulders.

I completely understand how you feel and I am here specifically for YOU. I am here to help YOU.

“How exactly can I help?” you may ask. Well, the answer is this, sometimes, don’t take any actions. Be lazy. Don’t do shit.

I can imagine some of you have a very hard time processing this haha. But you, yes I am talking to YOU, you need this. You are human, with blood being pumped every millilitre per second from a heart that has a stress limit. Every minute you get stressed, your blood pressure goes up and your heart gets worked up. In other words, you are leading yourself to potential cardiac arrest, and eventually, potential death. Is this how you REALLY want it all to end?

This is even me taking things too far. It really isn’t a bad thing to just take a chill pill about the affairs going on in your life and just sit this one out. Please, this doesn’t mean that you should relax for so long that your boss fires you, or your girlfriend breaks up with you. Rather, have a breather and ENJOY LIFE.

You could watch a movie, read books, go out with friends, drink a cup of coffee, eat in a restaurant (long live the foodies) or even do the most basic activity in the world, SLEEP. Just do something that is definitely NOT stressful to you.

You may think these are counter-productive, but in actuality, they help provide a massive energy boost, increase work productivity, improve acne problems (that’s a plus for the ladies) and most importantly helps you to have a clear mind and a better decision making process, according to the prestigious healthy lifestyle gurus, Kiipfit

So, what’s it gonna be? Do you want to be a suffering goody two shoes? Or a productive lazy ass?

Pick wisely.
